Nathaniel Hawthorne Middle School 74
Beat the Streets Wrestling Team
Nathaniel Hawthorne Middles School's wrestling team is an opportunity for both boys and girls to learn the sport of wrestling. The team is run through beat the streets and the seasons goes from October to December. Wrestlers will practice twice a week from 2:20 to 4:00 and be introduced to different wrestling moves and techniques. Student athletes will also get the chance to compete in dual meets and tournaments against other schools throughout the city.

First Alumni to win City Championship
Congrats to former Team 74 wrestler Shane Phillips on winning the PSAL championships and qualifying for the NYS championship tournament. Shane currently wrestlers for Cardozo High School.

Wrestling season kicks of on March 23rd. Practice will be in the gym directly after school.
